A 1-hour taster session for anyone over the age of 6 who is interested in having a go at archery!

Each session will be lead by a member of our team of coaches and experienced archers, who will help you to shoot safely and confidently. Sessions will start with an introduction to shooting on the archery range and at the end you will have a chance to take part in a mini-competition or fun activity. We are able to take mixed-age groups of up to 4 people per session and spectators are also welcome.
All the equipment you need for the course will be provided and there is parking available at the venue, along with toilet facilities. Please feel free to bring refreshments to the session if you wish.
The session will take place at our range behind Blake House Craft Centre. Turn into the main car park and follow the track past the craft centre buildings, the mini-golf and play area, and you will see the field on the left. The entrance is through the gate at the top of the track near the trees and parking is available on either side of the track when the weather is dry.
The field is open with little cover, so we recommend dressing for the weather. If it is warm, we would advise a hat, sun glasses and sun cream, and if it is cooler, we recommend wearing several closer-fitting layers without tassels or toggles rather than a single large coat as it is harder to shoot in. Whatever the weather, please wear flat shoes with closed toes. Any piercings above the waist (excluding ear studs) should be removed or secured with medical tape (even if they are under clothing).
